GRANT & LYNNE RICHARDSON

Have owned and operated Rocky Mountain Rehab since 2002. They both come from family business backgrounds, and strong sporting backgrounds. They have 2 active kids and a dog, and are often seen skiing, hiking or biking in the mountains. They choose their staff carefully, and are very proud of the service that the team provides to the Bow Valley community.

GRANT RICHARDSON 

Owner Operator

Grant has owned Rocky Mountain Rehab & Sports Medicine Clinic with his wife Lynne since 2002. With a strong background in leading high-performance teams, he appreciates how the great clinical team continues to help people of the Bow Valley get back to the active lives they lead. Grant’s background in sport and business blend well for his role as the clinic’s owner/operator. In his free time, Grant spends time with his family skiing, hiking, mountain biking, stand up paddle boarding, trail running, and just about any other activity the Bow Valley has to offer. Grant also has a huge passion for his children, and all children, as he is often found volunteering in the community to enhance children’s lives through sport or charity causes.

LYNNE RICHARDSON

Owner/ Physiotherapist
BSc (P.T.), Gunn IMS

Lynne and her husband Grant have owned Rocky Mountain Rehab since 2002. She is a Physical Therapy graduate from the U of A, a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy (FCAMT), is registered with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (CAFCI), and is a qualified GUNN IMS practitioner. She has taken numerous post-graduate courses, including Dynamic Core, ACL Injury Prevention, Vestibular (Dizziness) Rehabilitation, manual therapy and acupuncture courses.

Her professional interests include sports injuries, ACL and post-operative rehab, core stability, and alpine ski-related injuries.

Lynne was a competitive gymnast, a World Cup level Alpine Ski Racer, a forerunner at the ’88 Olympics, and was on the NCAA Ski team at the University of Alaska, Anchorage. She has worked as a Physiotherapist with the Canadian Alpine Ski Team, Canada Ski Cross Team, and was a member of the Alpine Ski World Championships Medical team.

Lynne loves being outdoors in the mountains, especially skiing, mountain biking or hiking with her friends, family and Gracie her yellow lab.


CAROL GIBSON COYNE

BScPT, Gunn IMS, FCAMPT, CAFCI

Carol Gibson Coyne started working in Canmore as an orthopedic physiotherapist in 1995. She has completed the highest level of certification in the Canadian Orthopedic certification program which qualifies her for spinal and peripheral joint mobilization and manipulation. She is also qualified in Neuroanatomical Acupuncture and Gunn IMS needling.

As an Olympian in Cross Country Skiing, Carol brings a strong background of athletic experience to the clinic. She understands the overloading that can happen in athletic injuries and the process to solve the mechanical overload and progress the person successfully back to their sporting goals. She was the physical therapist for the Canadian Cross-Country Ski Team from 1995-2005. She has been the physical therapist for the Canadian Biathlon Team since 1995, serving as their primary therapist at home and for international tours including the 2010 Olympic Games in Whistler, BC. As a team therapist, she collaborates with the medical team, coaching staff and the athletes to prevent injuries, optimize performance and return athletes back to their sport after injury as quickly as possible.

Carol’s mission statement as a therapist is to “Help people help themselves”. So, whether you are a high-level athlete or a person trying to optimize your day-to-day function, she has a wide range of assessment and treatment skills to help you reach your goals.

Natasha Eddie

MScPT;

Natasha has worked as a Physiotherapist in the orthopedic sector since graduating from the University of Ottawa in 2017. In her practice, Natasha combines the use of manual therapy, education, dry needling & exercise to provide her patients with the necessary tools to reach their goals. She strongly believes in an active approach to care and encourages her patients to be involved in their rehab.

Since graduating, Natasha has taken multiple courses which have refined her hands-on skills and clinical reasoning. She has also taken more specific post-graduate courses related to running injuries and prevention, managing long COVID symptoms and treating TMJ-related pain, and dry needling.

 Natasha grew up in Edmonton, Alberta and spent lots of time hiking and camping in the mountains with her family over the years. It is her love of the outdoors which has brought her to the Bow Valley! She really enjoys running and has completed multiple half marathons. When she isn’t running, she enjoys hiking, biking and cross-country skiing. She is new to Canmore and is excited to see what it has to offer!

 Natasha is bilingual and offers services in both French and English.
